I'm sorry to be a naysayer, but I think it would not be a good idea for you to bid on this item. First of all, you admit you don't even know about cryptozooalmondology, and he clearly is looking for someone experienced in that field. Second, I wonder if you have the time to devote to the study of this specimen, if ou should win it. Third, have you checked out his feedback? Highly suspicious - nothing since 2005? What is he trying to pull?!?
