- Back to School night was tonight. Jess has 4 male teachers. The art teacher was *very* young and kinda cute. I can't imagine having him when I was that age.
- I ran into some very old friends while there and it was really odd. Actually, the man was my old boss from when I worked at Circuit City, but we all became friends back then when I lived with my brother and his wife. I recognized them immediately, though neither of them could place *me* right away. The only thing I can think of is that the last time I saw them, they were already adults whereas I was only 18 or so, so maybe I've changed a lot? They remembered exactly who I was once I told them my name, they just didn't recognize me. They looked exactly the same, lol. Though they are now divorced, I was glad to see them united as a family for the child's sake.
- In other odd news, as I was driving down the boulevard tonight, my DH mentioned that power must me out at the Taco Bell. As we got closer.... nope. Taco Bell was GONE. There *was* a pile of rubble, but it was shocking to see. Where did the taco bell go and why? I'm so puzzled over this. I'm hoping MTW will come along and shed some light on it.
- Last thing, has anyone here ever driven past the work place of a friend who you have no current relationship with because you were accused of being obsessed with them? Is there a reason you would ever track down someone's work if you are not going to be making contact? I'm just a little rattled after finding out my friend Jenn drove past my brother's workplace today. He had to distance himself from her last year because her behavior toward him seemed really unhealthy. She's married, pregnant and on the verge of divorce. I think she has *serious* mental problems and I'm alarmed. When is it normal to drive past someone's work like that? Have you ever done that to a "platonic" friend whom you supposedly have no interest in?

And this is the second time my bullets haven't shown up when I hit 'post'. Damnit. :(
I can never make bullet points show either. They did one time and then never again!
You can have our Taco Bell, if you want it.
Yeah, I have done the drive-by thing. Work and home too. Not that I was obsessed! I was just, um, extremely interested. Yeah - that's it. Interested. I felt stupid, yet somehow it seemed worth the effort at the time - curiosity satisfied. I have also walked by the office door of someone I was interested in when I didn't have to go that way.
I have had girlfriends who did the same thing. Doing it once in a while seems not too bad to me. Doing it repeatedly? Not good.
There are such things as numbers for lists, you know.
1. This reminds me of my neighbor's school. She teaches third grade and apparently there is a young, cute, Kindergarten teacher there. All the moms want to be the room mom. Maybe you should be the room mom for Jess. *giggle*
Some of my best teachers were males, and I remember Mr. R in college who was a complete hotty.
2. People always recognize me. Always. I might not recognize them, but they always recognize me.
3. They are probably just rebuilding it. That has been going on here a lot lately with McDonald's. It's cheaper and easier just to knock them down and rebuild.
4. I'm going to plead the 5th on number 4. :)
No, I think it is weird that she drove by. Buy some eggs and throw them at her the next time she drives by.
*throws eggs at Boo*
Sorry, I have no idea about the Taco Bell, unless as Boo suggested they are rebuilding it (or relocating it).
I've done the drive-by, though not to work addresses necessarily. I always wonder what one would really expect to see though.
DD has four female teachers, none of whom are even remotely hot.
*smooch* :)
