So...
I don't feel as though I have a lot to update about, but I'll recap my week for any who are interested. *notices mad dash out of blog* I'll even bullet everything, in an effort to make it look more interesting. ;-)
- On Thursday I met with my new Psychiatrist. I don't think I liked her, but I'll give it one more "session" before I decide to ask for someone else.
- On Friday, I had a doctors appointment for some shoulder pain I've had forever. He gave me a muscle relaxer (which I learned today will knock me out) and signed me up for some kind of neck/shoulder therapy class. He said the knot in my shoulder was from stress. :(
- Friday evening, I picked up two boys who are friends with my kids, one who was DS's BF before moving to Arizona, but is back for a visit with his cousins. I had them last week as well, for one day, but this time I let them stay over. DD wanted them all to sleep in her room, but since my kids are almost 11, and one of the boys staying over was 13, I decided against it. I also ditched my DH that night, leaving him with all the kids, to go a movie with my parents. We saw The Devil Wears Prada. It was alright, but not as funny as I thought it was going to be.
- On Saturday, I had the kids for the day, and took them to my parents house to swim. I'll post a pic of them all. (edited~ I would have posted a pic, but blogger won't let me, damnit!) I was invited to go to a friends house that night, but it was a 40 minute drive, and I had the boys until 8pm, which pissed me off, since I had to wait for the mom to get them, and she didn't have her cell phone on, so I had to just sit and wait. *ugh* Anyhow, I ended up going to the friends house anyways but didn't get there until well after 9pm. I stayed pretty late, and as the only one who wasn't sleeping over, I was one of the few sober ones. It was fun to watch them all be silly and stuff, but I finally decided to leave, and was very happy to just enjoy the drive home. I'm not sure what time I got home, but it was a *very* late night.
- Early Sunday morning, we got a call at 6:30 am (felt like I'd only barely fallen asleep) and it was my brother, letting us know that my SIL's sister had miscarried. She was 4 and a half months along. Just heart breaking. After that, I slept some more (though it was a disturbed sleep, as often is when something sad has happened) and then I basically hung around the house, doing very little. My shoulder was killing me (maybe the driving home last night made it act up?) and so I took one of my new muscle relaxers. I tried to watch a show I had Tivoed awhile ago about the Holy Grail, but I fell asleep instead. That? Was my day. Pretty wasted, really. Tomorrow I'll get my act together and get some stuff done.
- Also, I found out that some peeps I thought I really knew and cared about, went behind my back and met each other this weekend. All I can hope is that there was no nudity or peanut butter involved. I'd hate to have to carry this grudge forever!

•I was jealous of your bullets.
•So Mr. Puffy showed me how to make them.
•I hope you have a fun 4th of July!
Hey! I'm jealous that you can bullet in the comments!
*smooch* Puffy!
*hug*
*smooch*
*hug for SIL*
* Who can't make bullets?
* I hope your next session is better.
* (((hugs)))
I never mentioned how proud I was of you for going to talk to someone. I would mention that now, but I'm too busy going "neener, neener!"
Waaaaaait, you can't be jealous! You met just about EVERYBODY last weekend.
Bob <---has zero sympathy for MM
Doesn't it piss you off how these peeps go and meet and then brag about it in their blogs? Fucking braggarts.
We were thinking of going to see The Devil Wears Prada, today. We'll see though.
*smooch*
Well the trailer for Devil Wears Prada makes it look pretty cool, but then trailers usually do. I love Glenn Close! I hope I get to see this one before it goes to DVD.
Sorry about your SIL's sister.
The only bullets I have are in my pellet gun. I shoot at crows.
•I had to make the bullets in a word document first.
•It didn’t work if I made the bullets in an email first.
•Meryl Streep is in the Devil Wears Prada.
•She looks like Glenn Close in the movie, though.
•We saw the Devil Wears Prada Saturday night.
•Anne Hathaway has big lips.
•An *asterisk* is not a bullet.
1. I like numbered lists.
2. Given the peeps, it's safe to say there was no nudity.
3. Peanut butter? Maybe.
4. I think it's rude to comment about peep meets in one's blog.
5. Present company excepted of course.
7. Bullets are for those who can't count.
In case you didn't realize it, my bullets aren't real.
Well, not these blog bullets.
Yeah, I noticed that Boo, but I still thought they were cute. *giggle*
*would thank Bob but can't see her comments*
Yes Carey, some peeps have no shame. I can't imagine just going on and on about a peep meet like that. How rude!
*still jealous of Puffy's bullets*
BTW, MTW, I think you are numbering your lists and making fun of bulletted lists because you can't do bullets. :p
I'm feeling disgruntled today because so far nobody has done my zero things meme! Too bad I wasn't able to tag anybody.
→ I can
→ Do bullets
→ If I want
*pbbbbbt*
Hey! How did you do the arrows!??
(and I would have done the meme if I'd been tagged. You have to tag people, it's a rule)
•I can do bullets without using Word
•I think peeps who rub peep meets in meetless peeps faces are even worse peeps!
•*grin*
I'm just going to sit here with Nutzy.
Because I'll never have a freaking peep meet
Nor will I figure out how to use bullets in comments the "real" fancy pants way.
Carey I totally agree.
I hate it when people go "Oh, come see my blog! There are pictures of a lobstah and a HD silloette!"
Especially when it is painfully obvious the person can't spell silloette to save their life.

--I can't do bullets.
--I can't do arrows.
--I just use two dashes like a complete idiot.
--But it kinda works.
--Doing stuff in Word first seems too complicated.
--That's all I got.
I hope either you warm up to the new pdoc or find another you can easily talk to.
*rubs MMs shoulder*
Yay for summer fun & kids...even if you do have to wait for them to return from the fun.
Sorry about the family miscarriage. That's sad. Too bad the phone call didn't wait til at least 8am.
Wasting a day is ok. Sometimes we need that.
Can't feel sorry for ya, Nutz. Your peepmeetlessness is your own doing. *sticks tongue out @ Nutz*
*sympathizes with Momma*
*gives Momma a hug*
*sticks tongue out at Nutz again*
Yeah Bob, I know what you mean. *rolls eyes*
-- good enough Swami, good enough!
Thanks Kim, I'm having a hard time wanting to give her a second chance (the Doctor) but I think it's the fair thing to do. *shrug* I'll let you know how it goes. Have to wait until the end of June. :(
*snort* I meant July, of course.
Good for you mm to at least give the doc a 2nd try. Of course, you have to feel completely comfortable with the doc so it's your decision.
*HUGS*
