Checkin' in...

I'll be honest, the longer I go without updating, the harder it is to come back. It seems like there is either too much to update about or not enough, kwim? At any rate, here I am. :)

*Work has been busy. I finally got someone to fix my internet so I can check in on OT every once in a while but I'm skeptical of looking at the blogs because I don't want to stress about clearing the history and I can't have people at work finding my blog, lol. Kelly and I are doing *so* much better now. I vaguely remember the days when I would come to work with a pit in my stomach because she bothered me so much, but now we really seem like coworkers as opposed to her being another "boss". Still loving the job, in general.

*My kids will be graduating from 8th grade next month and then I suppose they will be "high schoolers", right? Ugh. I have no idea what to get them as a present. They already have phones and I'm not getting them their own computers or TVs, so I don't know. I was thinking maybe a trip with some of their friends to Six Flags or something.

*I've done a little kayaking but not as much as I would like. I was just thinking about Carey today and how I'm looking forward to getting her to come out with me.

*I noticed there are a lot of names I don't recognize on OT now and it makes me sad. I miss the old days. I miss the old blog days too, when more of us were updating regularly. Such is life, I guess.

*So, in the spirit of the 'old days'... let's talk about panty-sniffers. My friend went out with a guy and when they finally slept together she realized he likes to sniff panties...*during sex* and after. Umm. I think that's weird. Anyone else? Oh, and I do mean her panties, of course. It sounded like an episode of Sex and the City to me, lol. She wants to know if that's normal and I just don't know what to say. /smut topic

*Lastly, I would like to thank those who are still blogging. I'm grateful because I like to know that you are all still out there, doing well (or not, just knowing you're there is nice). I'm sorry I've been inactive here. I was relieved to see that MTW updated as well, so thank you, Mark!

And I'm relieved and happy that you updated, too. Panty sniffers? Ugh!

I think a trip to Six Flags for your kids & some friends would be a very cool grad gift, but wouldn't a computer be cheaper? Lol...

When my middle daughter graduated from Jr High I did this for her and 3 of her friends. One of things we did was go to a booth where they take photos of people in various costumes of their choice. The girls chose to get all dolled up in 19th century dancehall dresses and get a group photo, B&W, with straight, serious faces like olde tyme photos were. It is such a stitch and my favorite "graduation" photo of her!

*changing topics*

I don't think it's exactly mainstream, but I would say that maybe light panty sniffing, done as part of an otherwise satisfactory, one-on-one relating experience is okay unless it bothers her - in which case it's weird & kinky. She gets to decide. (I'm assuming he playfully worked the panty-sniffing into their event and didn't just suddenly start huffing - in which case she should just put him out the door at once and lock it. MO)

Also? Forgot to say I'm glad you are back! I missed you! And your unexpected topics too, lol.

That? Made me LOL. :) Truthfully? I think she said he asked her to put her panties up to his face while in the midst of things. Caught her off guard. Now that I think about it, she never told me whether she did!

Great idea about the photos! I bet the girls would love that.

*smooches, you two!*

Hi! Glad things are still going well at work. It seems like just yesterday you were deciding whether to take the job!

I think the trip idea is good for the kids. More material things isn't always the best route, even though kids like it. Special memories of trips are better.

Finally, I get to the panty sniffer party. :-) I guess there could be stranger things to be into. I guess it's kind of weird, but how long has she known the guy? If it's a short time, I think it's weird he's brought it up so soon.

Michelle seemed to be interested in kayaking as well. Woot.
I still recognize the OTers, unfortunately I just don't care for many of the newer posters. There was a wave of newbies about a year ago that started my decent from OT. *shrug*
Unfortunately a couple, okay one in particular, has made it to Facebook as well.
Half the time I forget about blogs because I'm usually on FB.

*sits with Puffy immediately*

The longer you didn't update, the less I checked. I was about to put you on a milk carton.

I would go with the Six Flags. Good Golly (see people, I do say that): High Schoolers??????? That makes me sad for you. Excited, but sad because they are really growing up.

That panty sniffing thing is creeping me out just a little bit.
